Potsdam is a city of about 180,000 in the state of Brandenburg, Germany. It lies just outside of Berlin, in its southwestern corner and is especially known for its beautiful parks, castles and its historic old town. Due to its history (being part of the East German GDR) it is still home to a impressive streetcar network with a total length of approximately 30km across seven lines.

Besides newer streetcar types, including Siemens Combino and Stalder Variobahn, the Potsdamer Stadtwerke still runs older, high floor Tatra KT4D, which were originally built in the 1970s. Here are some impressions:
